Students who participate in ISEA's Schoolship Program become excited about science and stewardship through their active participation in every aspect of the program's activities. Through inquiry-based hands-on participation, students begin to feel a connection to the Great Lakes.
From this understanding, we hope to inspire young people to develop a sense of responsibility toward protecting the Great Lakes, so they are more likely to become stewards of this precious natural resource in the future.
